Dang, I'm Good

Wow. I am awesome. I am the techie. Got my new computer system set up, printer installed, internet service going without having to call the tech people. Well, actually, God is just good! Windows ME took me forever to get bug free...for a minute or two.

Okay, the old monitor weighing 15 ton fell off the chair in the living room, and scared me to death...I thought a kid fell out of the bunkbed upstairs and flew up there like a mad woman. All safely tucked in. I'm unsure as to it's state of health...it keeps blinking off and on.

What to do with a second computer anyway. Not so sure about that as of yet. Can't really afford to maintain two or network two, and not enough "Mom" to go around to service both. But, for gaming...would be nice.

Well, to bed for this chick. 2AM.

Just wanted to celebrate my accomplishment before I hit the hay. I just read this Mother Theresa quote on "This Guy Falls Down" (see margin, I'm too lazy to inbed links this month). This I could easily think through every day for a month and still need to hear it.

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self centered;

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;

Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;

Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;

Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, at it may never be enough;

Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, if the final analysis it is between you and God;

It was never between you and them anyway."

Hey thanks for sharing that, I don't really do new years resolutions, but I do try to think about how I would like to change any behaviors that are not the most healthy for living a Christ driven life. Blessed day,
