I still have many things my mom made for me, and I especially love the afghan she crocheted for me and curl up with it often. Every Christmas, I fill my tree with the ornaments she made for me, and I can remember all the happy memories we had over the years when I look at her things. It's so good to have something like that to remember lost loved ones and smile. That woodpecker is just beautiful.
